Tobacco Action Team

What's your reason for quitting?

Johnson County is fortunate to have a grant for the Baby & Me Tobacco Free program, an incentive for pregnant women to quit smoking for the health of their baby and themselves.

The program includes four pre-birth counseling sessions and monthly monitoring to ensure the mother is not smoking. Participants who test smoke-free earn two $25 diaper vouchers pre-delivery and monthly vouchers up to one year following birth, for a possible total of $350 in vouchers.

In addition, a smoker who lives with the pregnant woman can also enroll and earn vouchers.

Johnson County WIC at 600 Ironwood Drive, Suite I in Franklin administers the program for local women. The program is open to all county women regardless of income.
